Olenevalt kus sa parasjagu viibid, Aswanist peaks minema sinna täpselt kiirtee.
Homme kysin. Isegi need l6unapoolsed rahvuspargid on ainult Egiptlastele.
Katke yhest kohaliku ajakirjaniku erakirjast : "You can still visit the Bisharins in Shalateen. Tourists are allowed acces to the border town, but you first need to obtain a permit from the Military Intelligence Office in Marsa Allam.
There is only a dirt road from Wadi Al Allaqi to the Red Sea cost. If you want to cross from the Nile Valley to the coast, you can take the road from Edfu to Marsa Allam, or the one from Aswan to Berenice or the one from Qus to Quesir. Yet, I am not sure how would the police feel towards that, i.e. I am not sure if you need to be travel as part of a police-guarded caravan or not.
PS: Wadi El Allaqi requires a permit, from the Military Intelligence Office in Aswan.
For Wadi El Gemal, pls. check http://weekly.ahram.org.eg/2005/754/tr3.htm http://www.traveltodayarabia.com/article.aspx?ArticleID=4437
What is Wadi Al Alafi? Do you mean Wadi Al Allaqi?
For Elba NP http://weekly.ahram.org.eg/2005/757/tr5.htm Pls. note than only Egyptian nationals are allowed entrance to Elba NP. The NP is actually within the politically disputed area of Haleib Triangle
For beachs and ecolodges in the south Red Sea area http://weekly.ahram.org.eg/2005/766/tr3.htm
Yes there are plenty of beaches where you can just park your car and go for a dip.
Yes there is a daily bus from Cairo that goes all the way to Shalateen. "
http://www.lonelyplanet.com/thorntree/thread.jspa?messageID=13804319 "Berenice:
An ancient city named by Ptolemy II, it became a trading port in 275 BC. A ruined Temple of Semiramis is located near the modern town; inland, there are the remains of the emerald mines of Wadi Sakait, which were worked from Pharaonic to Roman times. The coast is lined with mangrove swamps and unspoiled bays and cove. Offshore, visit the tectonic island of Zabargad a geological phenomenon that is also famous as the source of the semiprecious gem olivine, mined here form 1500 BC until the mid-20th century. From Peridot Hill there are breathtaking views of the surrounding blue lagoons, rich in marine life and home to many dolphins."
